“Saggies loop” (Walk Softly)
“What if I can walk at half the speed I usually do? What if it takes me twice as long to reach my destination? What if I can forget about the destination altogether?”
What I’m Listening To
A moving interview discussing relationships and struggles with mental health.
What I’m Reading
Sometimes we read for pleasure. This is my dessert.
Quote of the Week
Poet and novelist Hermann Hesse on remaining open and receptive to what the world is offering you:
"When someone is seeking, it happens quite easily that he only sees the thing that he is seeking; that he is unable to find anything, unable to absorb anything, because he is only thinking of the thing he is seeking, because he has a goal, because he is obsessed with his goal. Seeking means: to have a goal; but finding means: to be free, to be receptive, to have no goal...
For in striving towards your goal, you do not see many things that are under your nose."

Behind the Curtain
With Help Me Heal now official (two years in the making), I find it overwhelming — especially being reconnected with socials and the flood of information. I'm exploring practical ways to manage this by dedicating a specific time per day for socials and balancing it with mindfulness practices.
A Special Moment
Now, almost two months into solo travelling in Thailand, I’ve learned a few practical lessons. I’ve started purposefully walking slower. This has become a form of meditation I can practise anywhere. It also helps me breathe better, lower my heart rate, and cope with the Thai heat.
An old friend, All, once told me: “Saggies loop, my vriend” (Walk softly, my friend) — about 15 years ago. Only now is the meaning becoming real.
Peace and love

Beautiful. It's all about the journey and not the destination. Heal and let heal. 🧘🏻♂️
